Wolsung SSG beta 1.2!

We present you a version 1.2 of the Wolsung rules – almost out of beta! We just need to add some great artwork (you can see the first WIP sketches inside), campaign rules and a modelling section and we’ll be out of beta!

Take a try at creating your own custom characters, play a series of games developing them and let us know how are your heroes!

The spiteful claim that an aristocrat is worth as much as their best servant. There is quite a bit of truth in it. Well trained servants are indispensable both at home and on the battlefield. A pistol handed at the right moment, an arm to lean on, or a faithful chest to take the bullet intended for the master can easily turn the tide of battle.

Besides, only barbarians go to battle without someone who can properly brew and serve tea.

This model is an alternative version of the Butler.

Alternative Initiative rules

Today we post the alternative Initiative rules.

These rules deal with the “pointless card throwing” in the first turn and force Hero models to abide terrain a little bit more when using Heroic Move by introduction of Climb and Jump.

Triads of Lotus Dragon – Pheonix – Orc Hero

Pheonix is the sword arm of the Triads. He can easily dispatch most of enemy Heroes in melee, and can use his focussed mental powers to hurl balls of fire at enemies, delivering coup de grace to wounded as he moves on to engage another target. His enhanced strength makes him deliver blows as strong as an Ogre would, allowing him to dismantle even Golems.

Ash and Oak Club – Zachary Fiercebatten III

Zachary Fiercebatten III is a grandson of well-known and decorated war veteran Sir Zachary Fiercebatten. Unlike his grandfather, Zach is slightly less… capable. This does not stop him from enjoying a life of hunting game and boasting about it. His family’s great wealth allows him to run great “before hunting expedition” and “after hunting expedition” parties, which can drag on up to a fortnight and take place in up to a dozen different family estates. Zach loves his Basset dogs and believes them to be the greatest and bravest hunting hounds, with tracking abilities second to none. He always makes sure to bring the largest and newest gun and the best beverages to a hunt.

In game terms, Zachary Fiercebatten III has the biggest gun, capable of felling the toughest foes, but mediocre firing skills at best. He benefits from Abhinav Singh spotting the same target (and undoubtedly shouting “A beautiful shot young master!”). His hounds are great at sniffing out these pesky Hidden in the Crowd Triads members.
